Lunch Break: Jail break angry interviews milf and racists.
My fellow co-worker (Eric Thompson) and I headed out to enjoy some Taco’s and Pizza at our local “Taco Hut” (taco bell and pizza hut combined). Little did we know our 25 minute lunch would be one of the most eventful in the recent history of mankind.
As I pulled into the parking lot I almost hit a man walking right at my car – so that got things started off on the right foot. After we parked and got out we noticed the police were hand cuffing a Taco Hut employee as she yelled a phone number to another employee outside. What an awesome idea this was!
When we finally settled in and ordered we found our seats and started chowing down. The food was good because it was fast and cheap. I glanced to my right and saw a gorgeous young girl with a 15 month old baby. How do I know it was 15 months old? Because some creepy guy asked her on the way out. Moving on….
Directly behind us sat three hispanic people. (2 males, 1 female) Apparently there was an interview going on and the person getting interviewed couldn’t speak english very well so the manager had a translator (also a worker) help out with the interview process. As we sat and listened to the interview Eric and I realized something – it was getting progressively angry. The manager starting saying things like “you have to be a leader, you don’t want to have to work for someone else your whole life. You don’t want to work on the headset and stand for 7 hours that sucks, the headset sucks!” followed up later by “Look at Tisha she’s a great person but at the end of the night she leaves and the next morning the place looks like SHIT!”
So while this incredibly encouraging interview was going on the lunch crowd had poured in and was finding thier seats. A large man with a ponytail sat down at the table next to us and said “That’s why they can’t get our orders right they can’t even fucking speak Englash..” (laughter insued). Yes that’s right “Englash” with an “A”.
Let’s recap shall we? We almost hit a man, the cops arrested an employee, we have a young mother wearing a shiny low cut shirt taking her baby out to lunch and is screaming for attention (the mother not the baby – and we wanted to give it to her), an angry interview and a racist all sitting around us. Meanwhile we wrapped up our delicious grease meals and went back to work with a nice story to tell.
I remember this, and it was……..neat.
